About us
The friends Nökkvi Sveinsson, Óskar Bragi Sigþórsson, and Þorvaldur Ingimundarson had long been looking for the opportunity to open a car wash in the capital area. A car wash that offers top-notch quality, technology, and service, and could stand up to the best they had experienced abroad. Mainly, two things had to fall into place: a suitable location and a manufacturer that met these requirements. When everything came together, the Skín car wash opened at Dalshraun 8 in Hafnarfjörður, next to RB Rúm, in the summer of 2026. The equipment is from the German manufacturer WashTec, which has specialized in car wash equipment for over six decades and leads the car wash market.
